The Early Spider-orchid is the earliest flowering of the UK's native orchids with flowers appearing from April to early May. South Purbeck in Dorset is a stronghold for this rare orchid where approximately 75% of the UK population can be found. It features as part of the Dorset Wildlife Trust logo.
