Access to Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge for guests is via boat transfer from Sierpe. During the boat trip there is a good opportunity to spot birds along the Sierpe River.

Commonly known as the Bank Swallow in America but Sand Martin in Europe. Also known as Common/European/Gorgeted Sand Martin. Normally a passage migrant from mid-August to early November and March to mid-May but can be a casual winter resident in Costa Rica. Click here for images of Sand Martins taken in the UK.
