Bittern lifts off when another gets close - Bittern
Otmoor RSPB Nature Reserve, near Beckley, Oxfordshire (January 2010)

Two Bitterns were seen from the second screen on this beautiful sunny morning. They quite often encountered one another when moving around the frozen edges of the northern lagoon. Generally one backed down and flew off to another area.
