Common Black Hawk (adult) flying, Sierpe River, Costa Rica

This bird was seen on a boat trip from Copa De Arbol Beach & Rain Forest Resort to the Sierpe River.
Mangrove Black Hawk is now classified under Common Black Hawk. Previously, the Mangrove Black Hawk was considered to be a separate species of the Pacific coast while Common Black Hawk was seen on the Caribbean coast. The features of the two birds are identical.
