Little Blue Heron, Rio Tarcoles, Costa Rica

The bridge was a convenient stopping point on the journey from San Jose to Manuel Antonio. It is well-known for the American Crocodiles which sun themselves on the banks of the river beneath the bridge. After crossing the bridge, Route 34 runs alongside the Parque Nacional Carara.
