This photo was taken on a Nature Images Finland Bears trip led by Mark Sisson. Pied Flycatchers were nesting in a box in the grounds of Martinselkosen Eräkeskus wildlife centre which was the base for the trip. This juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker unwisely chose to perch near the nest box.
