Pied Flycatcher (male) at Martinselkosen Eräkeskus

This photo was taken on a Nature Images Finland Bears trip led by Mark Sisson. Pied Flycatchers were nesting in a box in the grounds of Martinselkosen Eräkeskus wildlife centre which was the base for the trip. Actually the chicks fledged the day after the group's arrival allowing only a brief opportunity to photograph the adults.
