Seen perched on one of the oak trees along the bridleway.

This image has been used in a Birdguides article (December 2009) about the decline of this species in the UK. It appeared again in a second Birdguides article (August 2011) which discussed the fact that eight out of top ten of UK birds which have declined the most, according to the 2010 Breeding Bird Survey, are summer migrants including the Turtle Dove.
