Otmoor RSPB Nature Reserve, near Beckley, Oxfordshire (July 2009)

Seen perched on one of the oak trees along the bridleway.

I was contacted by Milan Ružić of Wild-Serbia.com for permission to use this image in a forthcoming book being written (in the Serbian language) about the Zasavica Special Nature Reserve. SNR Zasavia is located some 100 km west of Belgrade. 186 bird species (including Turtle Dove) have been sighted at the reserve. The book is due to be published in March 2010.
