This is a north-easterly view out over the Rio Putana (Vega de Putana wetland) towards snow-capped Cerro Tocorpuri (northern summit 5808 metres high, southern summit Tocorpuri Sur 5538 metres). Cerro Tocorpuri is on the Chile-Bolivia border and is part of the Tocorpuri volcanic complex. It is a dormant stratovolcano. The gently sloping mountain (summit 4633 metres) on the far left in the mid-distance is Pabellon.
