Young Long-tailed Macaque, Gao Giong, Vietnam

Our trip to Gao Giong was organised by Mekong Riverside Resort. A boat trip is taken along a canal before turning into a flooded area surrounded by trees with many perched and flying storks together with other water birds. The Macaques were seen after the boat trip before returning to the car. Presumably they are wild but are attracted by the prospect of tourists feeding them. Indeed our guide proceeded to tempt them with leaves until one grabbed something more to its liking from his backpack.
